X-rated letters from home have Army Ranger, Levi McPherson, tied up in knots. The hardest part is not knowing who the author is. He has a particular person in mind, but his brother's conservative best friend, Natalie Rowland, is most definitely off-limits and couldn't possibly be the one. When he's given the chance to return home for a week after his brother is hurt by a roadside bomb, he's bound and determined to find out the woman's identity. And when he does, he plans to act upon those highly charged sexual fantasies that have been leaving him aching in all the right spots.

Natalie has had a crush on Levi for years but never had the courage to act on them. Now that he's fighting the war in Iraq, she realizes how very short life can be and puts her deepest fantasies in writing. When she sends them anonymously to the object of her obsession, she feels completely safe getting her feelings out like this. But what would happen if he ever found out? When her assistant accidently puts her return address label on one of the letters, Natalie knows the game is up. So when Levi returns home for a short visit and starts acting out some of those x-rated fantasies, she decides it couldn't hurt to have a few good memories before he heads back to the front line.

Letters From Home is a fast paced story that is easy and fun to read. Rhonda Nelson made this story come alive and the characters jump right off the page. I immediately felt a kinship with them and was rooting for Levi and Natalie right from the start. Letters From Home had an exciting premise and was something I could actually see happening. Ms. Nelson also fueled my interest in Levi's brother, Adam, and his book, The Soldier. I can't wait to dive into this next installment in Rhonda Nelson's "Uniformly Hot" series. I predict that both books will definitely be added to my keeper shelf.

JUST SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ONE I REALLY LIKED

There is nothing more wonderful to a deployed soldier then a letter from home. However when Army Ranger Levi McPherson begins receiving X-rated letters from an anonymous sender his anticipation for mail call takes on a whole new meaning. He's taken to calling his sexy new pen pal Ms X and while he knows nothing about her other than what she wants to do to his body and vice-versa he has discovered from the return PO Box that she's from his hometown of Bethel Bay South Carolina, filling him with nostalgia and trying to place a face to the steamy handwriting.

While also serving in Iraq his younger brother Adam gets injured by a roadside bomb and Levi unexpectedly finds himself back in Bethel Bay on leave. Now other then making sure Adam's doing okay he's made it his personal mission to find out who the author of the sexy letters is and then living out each and every one of her fantasies before he returns to the front line.

Driftwood artist Natalie Rowland has been best friends with Adam forever and while everyone always assumed they'd get together, she's only ever had eyes for his brother Levi. On their latest tour Natalie took the opportunity to express her deepest desires. I mean where's the harm, it's not like he's ever going to find out who wrote the letters right? Except to her horror Natalie's over efficient secretary stamped her name on the last one, and now Levi's coming home, in fact he should be walking in the hospital any moment now. Does he know she's Ms X? And if so what's he going to do about it?

There was just something about this story that I really liked. It was fast paced, uncomplicated and had characters that were relatable and fun. I appreciated the snippets of letters included although for as erotic as they were supposed to be they were really quite tame. I got hooked on the love story here and wondered how this couple who wanted very different things from life were going to make it work in the end. It's always a sign of a good story when I can't figure out the HEA and can't stop reading until I find out. Cheers

I hadn't read any "Blaze" in a quite a while but author Rhonda Nelson now has me seeking out the next instalment from her "Uniformly Hot" series, which gives us injured soldier Adam's bit of Blaze. The Soldier (Harlequin Blaze) I can't wait.

There was only a few things i expected to get from this book, and i am pleased to tell you that i was completely blindsided by how well written this book was and how entertaining and enjoyable the plot was.

Levi has been getting anonymous letters from a girl in his home town since he was deployed to Iraq, since he's been their he has become dependent on those hot-n-steamy letters that tell him how much this woman knows about him, while he doesn't even know who is writing the letters. But when tragedy strikes his brother and Levi gets sent home for a short visit he's determined to find out who the mystery woman is, no matter what.

Natalie has been in love with her best-friend's brother for years, but he was older and never noticed her. But when she realizes that he's in danger in Iraq she decided to write to him, but only as long as she stayed anonymous so she could bare her true feelings. But when Levi comes home for an unexpected visit she only has a week to be with him, but is she brave enough to reveal herself?

Natalie and Levi heat up the sheets and any other surface that's close enough to get to, they only have a week to realize that both of them have been in love with the other for years. But is a week long enough, and can a soldier and a woman firmly embedded in her town make a life together work?

Letters From Home was an amazing tale, the characters were so developed you couldn't help but connect with them. The town, Bethel Bay, becomes another character that makes you wish you could stop by the cozy seaside town and enjoy a vacation. And the dialogue has so many hilarious quirks you can't help but laugh along with the characters.

Enjoy this special find that will have you wishing it was a whole length novel, and that you could taste one of those treats from Winni's Bakery, and sit on the beach for an afternoon

Agnes remembered mother saying "People are like gardens, while they need sunshine, water,and a healthy dose of prayer, Grace grows good gardens and people." "We are all going to be one big happy family so why not start with one big happy triple family wedding?" Super story.

I loved this book. The book is believable and makes you realize that people only show you what they want you to see. The protagonist is one manipulative woman, but the hero in this story doesn't let him get to the sweet owner.

It deals with the fall of Jacen Solo to the dark side of the Force, mentored by the returning villain Lumiya. The backdrop to this story arc is the conflict between Corellia and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, which later erupts into a full-scale war. The books are written in a cycle of Aaron Allston, Karen Traviss, Troy Denning repeated three times, with Denning finishing the series with the ninth novel, Invincible.
